James and Laura met many years ago, probably around 2003, in an old rock pub called the Hobgoblin in their hometown of Bath. They also met at some parties in Bath but neither can remember any specifics. Little did either know that one day they would one day meet again and eventually fall in love and marry.

The couple met again when Laura was looking for a temporary house share in Bath/ She posted a plea on Facebook, asking if anyone knew of reasonable rooms to rent in the city. James responded, Laura moved in. And the rest, as they say, is history!

James proposed to Laura in Pompeii, Italy on the stone steps of a beautiful ancient ampitheater. She of course said yes! On Wednesday 25th August 2022 James (and his lodger turned fiancée) Laura finally tied the knot!
